Seriously blocked pores…?

Help! I am 27 and still getting acne! I also have blocked pores on one side of my face and not the other so I look pretty on one side and not the other lol! Seriously though…is so gross. I used that Neutrogena Home Micro Dermabrasion and since I have had hundreds of little tiny bumps that look like blocked pores on the one side of my face. I right now am using Dr. Hauschka products because I have oily/problem skin and thought this would work. I have in my cupboard sooo many products (Aloe Vera Forever Living skin care… not working…. St. Ives Apricot scrub… don’t know if I want to go there… old proactive products… that worked but dried out my skin and caused fine lines… Kiehl’s… not working… Vichy for problem skin… not working). What to do to get my skin beautiful and smooth again???
Also, I don’t get a lot of them at once but I do get such huuuuuuge zits. They actually hurt. Help!

Hi, At 28, I finally bit the bullet and went to a dermatologist. He gave me a Rx that kinda worked. Then I went to esthescian school….Aveda (good stuff) and found out that I was using the products in the wrong order at the wrong time.

Gentle cleansing, tone (to close the pores), oil-free mositurizer
don’t use microderm abrasions, etc on acne sensitive skin. Use an acne cleansing mask one or two times a week.

I personally perfer Mary Kays line (not Time Wise, but the $10-12 a bottle stuff). My dermatologist had me to switch to that and for $40 every six to eight weeks it’s worth it.

Also beware of wash cloths. I used a shammy cloth available at Aveda or Sephora for about ten bucks until my face had cleared up.

A year later my face is much, much better….
