Hi I my question is about Forever living products,?
Basically i went to see one of the team builders that works for FLP,she did presentation about flp and its products (Aloe Vera),I was vey impressed with every thing, the fact that the product is so powerful it can change peoples lives etc.So she went on sayin that to start up you would need to buy the fast start pack or something, that costs,£200, or minimum of £100 to buy products. So i would eventually start building my team as well and train them and the more people you get the more you get paid as well as me puttin time into it. She also said write down a 100 names of people you know and she would talk to them, i think about the product. Now im thinking is this genuine or is it a scam.? Has anyone come across anything like this? Is any body working as a Teambuilder? in this company? if so please give me info on this.
Forever Living is a real company and there is nothing wrong with them; however, any company that tells you to make a list of friends and family is not being very current in their marketing techniques. What will end up happening is you will lose credibility with your friends and family –
She’s not going to talk to them about the products, in most cases her job is to present the business opportunity to your friends and family because normally recruiting is where the bigger money comes in.
It’s a brutal stairstep breakaway compensation plan. Lots of hoops to go through to actually earn income. A friend of mine told me there is a ‘qualifying period’ before commissions are paid. If commissions in another country do not reach a certain level, they are ‘re-absorbed’ by the company. That’s called breakage.
The chief disadvantage of stairstep breakaway plans is the tendency for inventory loading. Unless the company aggressively monitors them, distributors will tend to coach their subordinate distributors to amass inventory to gain rank. This means you could be buying a LOT of inventory you don’t need. Also when you breakaway, your team leader really sees little benefit from helping you anymore since she is now out of your pay line.
It may sound good in a presentation, but it really boils down to what do I have to do to earn income. That is what you want to do it for right? If the answer is buy inventory and recruit your friends and family – you are not going to be popular at social functions for very long.
I’d ask this woman what you have to do if you don’t want to attack friends and family. If she says you can buy leads – RUN ! RUN FAST !
