Alternative to using Adsense on my site?
I have a dating site for free, but the problem is, adsense displays relevant ads. So all the ads that appear on my site are the advertising of other dating sites. This is a problem, because I lose my visitors to these sites. I do not want to lose visitors, but at the same time, it's a free site to put ads on it like MySpace are my only hope of making profits. I've thought about emailing random websites and make them pay me to rent space on my site, but there no other alternative to this? I want to display ads on my site, which are not related to dating. I do not like what they are related, but no dating. I want to pay per click ads, no affiliate links or anything where my clients would have to register or buy something in order for me make money from them. Thank you
You can try to note all the urls for the ads you do not want to appear on your site more, and put them in your Competitive Ad Filter (AdSense Setup). Another way would be to work more keywords around your AdSense code. Keywords for which you DO want ads to appear. If this does not work, you can try other companies, such as Chitika. I just started to try them, you can not say too much about it, but you can check them on the right menu on the website below. Their ads are not targeted content.
