How long should my CV, it is now 4 pages? I hv. powers grt wrk & exp. but not frm emplyr hits
I have 10 years experience wrk in TV production with a well-known network, but I want to make the transition to commercialization, I have little experience vary. Should I include my experience of television (it includes working with various celebrities, popular sport watch, and with great responsibility) with my experience Marketing to enhance my resume? So, with this format, I've had no calls from any employer. One guy said I should condense my resume, but what you think? Do you think a future employer may owe me a lot of experience for entry-level position at mid-career in marketing or public relations. And by the way, I have a BA in Public Relations.
When I review resumes, I would like to see all the highlights on the first page. While having enough experience to write a book is wonderful – when I do interviews and a battery of 40 HP can eat a lot to read time. Since I'm hiring, I am already short-handed course. I do not want to spend the next three days reading novels. Your resume should attract attention and make them want to talk to you. Bullet points are your friends! Keep it short and sweet! Learn this phrase – "Additional information is available on request." Think your experience that this work would be impressed by the list and the first articles. Think of it this way – if someone asks you what time it is – not trying to tell them how to build the clock! Good luck!
